CANCELLATION OF DIRECTIVES
Attached is a listing of 17 canceled directives, effective
immediately. This is a continuing effort in the ongoing
initiative to reduce the burden and volume of internal
regulations. The Chief Financial Officer is currently in the
process of finalizing three consolidated Orders. These Orders
will contain only the necessary requirements contained within the
Orders listed in Attachment 1.
Until such time that the consolidated Orders are completed, the
Chief Financial Officer recommends that the procedural concepts
contained in the canceled Orders be used. The cancellation of
these Orders does not relieve the Department or its contractors
from complying with the applicable Federal laws and regulations
pertaining to the canceled Orders or their functional areas.
If you need additional information concerning the cancellation of
the listed directives, contact the Points of Contact listed in
