Steady State (SS)

Steady State means maintenance and operation costs at current capability and performance levels including costs for personnel, maintenance of existing information systems, corrective software maintenance, voice and data communications maintenance, and replacement of broken IT equipment. For major IT projects, this amount should equal the amount reported for maintenance plus the associated FTE costs reported in the OMB Exhibit 300B.
