Planning Phase

This phase includes processes required to establish the total scope of the project, define key target performance metrics, and ensure that the proposed scope, schedule, and cost baseline are achievable. To accomplish these goals, the PM should develop the project management plan (PMP), collect business – functional requirements, refine objectives, perform risk management, and ultimately baseline the project.
