Mandatory Performance Activities (MPA)

A set of activities derived from a Job Task Analysis (or equivalent type of analysis) that require TQP participants to apply related knowledge to complete the particular activity to a defined level or performance. The expected level of performance for MPAs is typically defined by a set of evaluation criteria. MPAs are selected only for those job tasks that are commonly performed across DOE in specific functional or program area and whose performance is key to demonstrating that the associated performance competency statement has been met.
