Contractor(s)

For purposes of the Directives Program:

a. An organization under contract with DOE to perform services with the clause at DEAR 970.5204-2, Laws, Regulations and DOE Directives, in their contracts; or

b. An organization under contract with DOE requiring the incorporation of a CRD in their contract to implement an Order.

Note: This definition of contractor does not include all of the procurement contracts entered into by DOE.

For purposes of the directives system, corporate organizations under contract with DOE to perform services with the clause at DEAR 970.5204-2, laws, regulations, and DOE directives, in their contract. Includes all persons, organizations, departments, divisions, and companies having contracts, agreements, or memoranda of understanding with the DOE or other federal agency.

Any entity, including affiliated entities, such as a parent corporation, under contract with DOE, or a subcontractor at any tier, that has responsibilities for performing work at a DOE sit in furtherance of a DOE mission.
