Academic Degree Program

Defined as a post-secondary education including an associate’s, a bachelor’s, a master’s, or a doctoral/post-doctoral degree, or a specialist degree resulting in a distinct education (e.g., not a certificate program). Institutions granting these types of degrees must meet standards and accreditation criteria from an entity recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Courses may be classroom-based, web-based, or hybrid.
