CANCELE D DISTRIBUTION: INITIATED BY: All Departmental Elements Office of Human Resources and Administration DOE N 251.31 U.S. Department of Energy NOTICE Washington, D.C. 4-13-98 Expires: 7-13-98 SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF DIRECTIVE Effective immediately DOE 3791.2A, A FEDERAL EMPLOYEE MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY PROGRAM, dated 12-24-86, is canceled. This is the result of the Office of Environment, Safety and Health incorporating the Federal employee motor vehicle safety requirements into DOE O 440.1. After conducting a joint review of the parallel requirements, both EH-71 and HR-32 recommended that DOE 3791.2A be canceled, thereby resolving the issue of redundancy and clarifying the line of authority for the Department’s motor vehicle program.
