SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF DIRECTIVES DOE O 5480.18B, NUCLEAR FACILITY TRAINING ACCREDITATION PROGRAM , dated 8-31-94, is canceled, effective immediately. This is the result of an effort by the Office of the Assistant Secretary, Environment Safety and Health. The objectives of the subject Order can be met through implementation of existing requirements contained in DOE Order 5480.20A, "Personnel Selection , Qualification, and Training Requirements for DOE Nuclear Facilities," issued on November 15, 1994, and the associated standard for the evaluation of training programs, DOE-STD-1070-95, "Guidelines for the Evaluation of Nuclear Facility Training Programs."
