SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF DIRECTIVES
The four (4) Orders below are canceled, effective immediately. This is a continuing effort in the
ongoing initiative to reduce the burden and volume of internal regulations.
1. DOE 3305.2, SENIOR EXECUTIVE SERVICE - EMPLOYMENT. The requirements
covered by this Order are found in 5 Code of Federal Regulations, parts 771, 1201 and 1250; 5
United States Code, parts 3391-3395 and 3593; and the federal Personnel Manual, chapter 920.

2. DOE 3430.4A, SENIOR EXECUTIVE SERVICE PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL SYSTEM.
The requirements covered by this Order are found in 5 Code of Federal Regulations, part 293;
the Civil Service Reform Act (Public Law 95-454); DOE 1700.1, FREEDOM OF
INFORMATION PROGRAMS and DOE 1800.1A, PRIVACY ACT.

3. DOE 3540.1A, PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND RECOGNITION SYSTEM. The
law which established the requirements covered by this Order has been abolished, and the Order
is now obsolete.

4. DOE 3710.1A, LABOR-MANAGEMENT RELATIONS PROGRAM FOR FEDERAL
EMPLOYEES. This program will be managed through a soon to be published Guide. The
delegations for this program will be placed in an overall personnel delegations directive, also
soon to be published. Delegations to be retained include those contained in paragraphs 5a(3),
5b, 5c(l) through (7), 5d, and 5e.
