DESIGNATION ORDER NO. 00-24.00
TO DEBORAH L. BUTERBAUGH
1. DESIGNATION. Under the authority vested in me as Head of Contrncting Activity,
Deborah L. Butterbaugh is hereby designated the NNSA Contracting Activity Ombudsman
as that title and its responsibilities are described in DEAR Subpart 916.505(b)(6)(iii).
2. LIMITATION.
2.1. This designation covers all parts of NNSA.
2.2. In exercising the designated authority in this Order, the designee shall be governed by
the rules and regulations of DOE/NNSA and the policies and procedures prescribed by
the Secretary of Energy or Deputy Secretary of Energy or Under Secretary of Nuclear
Security.
3. AUTHORITY TO REDESIGNATE. This designation may not be redesignated or delegated.
4. DURATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
4.1. All actions by the designee pursuant to any authority provided prior to this Order or
pursuant to any authority granted by this Order taken prior to and in effect on the date of
this Order are ratified and remain in force as if taken under this Order, unless or w1til
rescinded, amended or superseded.
4.2. A copy of this Order shall be provided to NNSA' s Office of Management and Budget.
4.3. This Order is effective d~6.
