DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY DELEGATION ORDER NO. 0204-22 TO THE INSPECTOR GENERAL Pursuant to the authority vested in me as Secretary of Energy and by Section 642 of the Department of Energy Organization Act (Public Law 95-91) (the “DOE Act”), there is hereby delegated on a nonexclusive basis to the Inspector General of the Department of Energy (“DOE”) all functions vested in me by law as the Secretary of Energy (“Secretary”) relating to the issuance of subpoenas has defined in Section 9 of the Federal Trade Commission Act, 15 U.S.C. 49 (with respect to the following matters: The alleged unauthorized disclosure of Department of Energy information to the American Petroleum Institute and John Iannone matters incidential thereto. The Inspector General may act in the name of the Secretary for the purpose of obtaining enforcement of such subpoenas. The authority delegated to the Inspector General by this Order shall not be further delegated, in whole or in part. In exercising the authority delegated by this Order the Inspector General shall be governed by the rules and regulations of DOE and the policies and procedures prescribed by the Secretary or the Deputy Secretary.
