DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY DESIGNATION ORDER 00-10.00 TO THE DIRECTOR, OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT l. DESIGNATION. Under the authority vested in me as Secretary of Energy, the Director, Office of Management (MA) is hereby designated as the Department of Energy (DOE) official responsible to perform the duties set forth in 22 Code of Federal Regulations, sections 62.11 and 41.63 pertaining to the DOE Exchange Visitor Program. 2. RECISSION. Section 1.2 of Designation Order 00-08.00 is hereby rescinded. 3. LIMITATION. 1.1 This designation covers all parts of DOE, except the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. 1.2 ln exercising the designated authority in this Order, the designee shall be governed by the rules and regulations of DOE, and the policies and procedures prescribed by the Secretary of Energy or Deputy Secretary of Energy. 1.3 Nothing in this Order shall be construed to supersede or otherwise interfere with the authorities provided to the Administrator, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) by law or by delegation. Furthermore, nothing herein constitutes authority to exercise authority, direction, control, over an employee of NNSA or its contractors. 4. AUTHORITY TO REDESIGNATE. This designation may not be redesignated or delegated. 5. DURATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE. 5.1 All actions by the designee pursuant to any authority provided prior to this Order or pursuant to any authority granted by this Order taken prior to and in effect on the date of this Order are ratified and remain in force as if taken under this Order, unless or until rescinded, amended, or superseded. 5.2 A copy of this Order shall be provided to the Office ofinformation Resources within MA. 5.3 This Designation Order 00-10.00 is effective OCT 2 7 2006 ~cJW~ Samuel W.
