[RESCINDED][RESCINDED] DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY DELEGATION ORDER NO. 0204-64 Pursuant to the authority vested in me as Secretary of Energy (“Secretary”) and by Section 642 of the Department of Energy Organization Act (Pub.L. 95-91) and under Section 1-204 of Executive Order 12065, there is hereby delegated on a non-exclusive basis to the officials occupying the positions listed below (or in their absence, to those acting in their stead) the authority to originally classify information as top secret, secret, and confidential: 1. Deputy Secretary 2. Under Secretary 3. Chief Financial Officer 4. Director, Office of the Secretary 5. Assistant Secretary for International Affairs 6. Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Affairs 7. Director of Current Assessment 8. Director, Energy Research 9. Assistant Secretary for Policy and Evaluation 10. Assistant Secretary for Fossil Energy 11. Assistant Secretary for Nuclear Energy 12. Deputy Assistant Secretary for Naval Reactors 13. Assistant Secretary for Defense Programs 14. Deputy Assistant Secretary for Defense Programs 15. Director of Classification 16. Director of International Security Affairs 17. Director of Military Application 18. Director of Safeguards and Security 19. Manager, Albuquerque Operations Office 20. President, Sandia Laboratories 21. Vice President, Sandia Laboratories, Livermore 22. Director, Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory 23. Assistant Manager for Operations, Oak Ridge Operations Office 24. Plant Superintendent, Union Carbide Corporation, Y-12 Plant 25. Director, Lawrence Livermore Laboratory The authority delegated herein may not be further delegated. In exercising the authority delegated by this Order, the delegates shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the DOE and the policies and procedures prescribed by the Secretary or his delegates(s). -2- All actions pursuant to any authority delegated prior to this Order or pursuant to any authority delegated by this order taken to and in effect on the date of this order are hereby confirmed and notified and shall remain in full force and effect as if taken under this Order, unless or until rescinded, amended or superseded.
