DELEGATION ORDER NO. 0204-64
Pursuant to the authority vested in me as Secretary of Energy (“Secretary”) and by Section 642
of the Department of Energy Organization Act (Pub.L. 95-91) and under Section 1-204 of
Executive Order 12065, there is hereby delegated on a non-exclusive basis to the officials
occupying the positions listed below (or in their absence, to those acting in their stead) the
authority to originally classify information as top secret, secret, and confidential:

The authority delegated herein may not be further delegated.
In exercising the authority delegated by this Order, the delegates shall be governed by the rules
and regulations of the DOE and the policies and procedures prescribed by the Secretary or his
delegates(s).

All actions pursuant to any authority delegated prior to this Order or pursuant to any authority
delegated by this order taken to and in effect on the date of this order are hereby confirmed and
notified and shall remain in full force and effect as if taken under this Order, unless or until
rescinded, amended or superseded.
This Order rescinds Delegation Order No. 0204-32 and is effective November 27, 1979.
