DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY DELEGATION ORDER NO. 0204-132 TO THE INSPECTOR GENERAL 1. DELEGATION. Pursuant to the authority vested in me as Secretary of Energy and by sections 201 and 642, Department of Energy Organization Act 42 U.S.C. sections 7131, 7252), there is hereby delegated to the Inspector General authority to: a. Establish an Executive Resources Board (ERB) and a Performance Review Board (PRB) for the Senior Executive Service (SES) positions in the Office of Inspector General (OIG). b. Approve OIG SES awards for a suggestion, invention, superior accomplishment or a special act or service. c. Recommend to the Office of Personnel Management OIG SES nominations for Presidential Rank Awards. d. Determine the amount of OIG SES performance awards. e. Approve payment of travel and transportation expenses for new OIG SES appointees. 2. RESCISSION. None. 3. LIMITATION. a. In exercising the authority delegated by this order, or as redelegated pursuant thereto, the delegate shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the Department of Energy and the policies and procedures prescribed by the Secretary and his or her delegates. b. Nothing in this order shall preclude the Secretary from exercising any of the authority so delegated whenever in the Secretary's judgment exercise of such authority is necessary or appropriate to administer the functions vested in the Secretary. 4. AUTHORITY TO REDELEGATE. The authority hereby delegated to the Inspector General may be delegated further, in whole or in part, as the Inspector General may determine to be appropriate. 2 5. DURATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE. a. All actions pursuant to any authority delegated prior to this order or pursuant to any authority delegated by this order taken prior to and in effect on the date of this order are hereby confirmed and ratified, and shall remain in full force and effect as if taken under this order, unless or until rescinded, amended, or superseded. b. Fitzpatrick Acting Secretary of Energy DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AMENDMENT TO DELEGATION ORDER NO. 0204-132 TO THE INSPECTOR GENERAL Pursuant to the authority vested in me as Secretary of Energy and by section 642 of the Department of Energy Organization Act (Pub. L. 95-91), Delegation Order No. 0204-132 is hereby amended to include subparagraph f. to paragraph 1. Delegation., as follows: “f.
