DESIGNATION ORDER NO. 00-0 1 1.03-0 1
TO JERRY G. HANLEY
I. DESIGNATION. Under the authority granted to me by Redelegation Order No. QO-
0 1 1.03, Jerry G. Hanley is hereby designated the Department of Energy (DOE) Chief
Privacy Officer.
2. LIMITATION. In exercising the designated authority in this Order, the designee shaII
be governed by the Privacy Act of 1974 and the rules and regulations of DOE and the
policies and procedures prescribed by the Secretary of Energy or Deputy Secretary of
Energy.
3. AUTHORITY TO REDESIGNATE. This designation may not be redesignated or
delegated.
4. DURATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
4.1. A copy of this Order shall be provided to the designee and the Office of
Management.
4.2. This Order is effective June 30,2008.
