EXPLANATION OF CHANGES. These changes were made to correct office nomenclatures, and to update office responsibilities, references, and contact information. 2. In accordance with DoD Directive 3150.02, DoD Nuclear Weapon Surety Program, and DoD Manual 3150.02, DoD Nuclear Weapon System Safety Program Manual, the Secretary of each military department ensures the safety and security of all nuclear weapons and nuclear weapon systems for which the military department has a DoD life-cycle management responsibility. 4 4.b.(2)(b) The NNSA Nuclear Weapon Surety and Quality Division must select an NNSA member whose primary responsibility must be participation in NWSSG activities.
