SUBJECT: DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AMERICAN INDIAN TRIBAL GOVERNMENT
INTERACTIONS AND POLICY
1. PURPOSE. To transmit the revised page to DOE O 144.1, Department of Energy
American Indian Tribal Government Interactions and Policy, dated 1-16-09.
2. EXPLANATION OF CHANGES. This change amends the Exclusion paragraph to
include the Director, Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program who will oversee and implement
the requirements of the Order for programs under the Director’s cognizance.
