BACKGROUND: The President issued an executive order on May 9, 2023, “Moving Beyond COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements for Federal Workers,” that revoked Executive Order 14042, “Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors.” Because the purpose of DOE O 350.5 was to implement the now revoked Executive Order 14042, DOE O 350.5 is being cancelled. SENSITIVITIES: None. POLICY IMPACT: None. URGENCY: None. RECOMMENDATION: That you approve the cancellation of this Directive. The Directives Review Board recommends this action for approval.
