Facility Technical Threat Assessment (FTTA)

A weighted system for determining the need and priority of TSCM services. Its purpose is to identify potential targets and to quantify the overall effectiveness of the site or facility’s protection strategy. This is accomplished by analyzing the site or facility’s characteristics: the presence of sensitive or classified material; local and national threat assessments; protective force capabilities; and the presence of neutralization/countermeasures mitigations. The FTTA value helps the TSCMPM determine the number of sites and facilities that require services and the priority for their completion.
