Equipment and Refurbishment or Equipment Repair

The restoration or replacement of a deteriorated item of PACE such that it may be utilized for its designated purpose. The cost of repair is normally charged to an operating expense account and includes amounts for labor and associated supervision and materials and transportation costs, as well as indirect and other costs incurred in such repairs, but it does not include the costs to replace items of PACE designated as retirement units.
