Enabling Input Stimuli

Safety critical inputs that include unique signals, unique environments, and other stimuli that operate (or will be used to operate) safety devices in nuclear weapons. Enabling input stimuli and the time of application to the weapon (e.g., the time/place in the trajectory to the target) are selected during weapon development as appropriate for the abnormal and/or normal safety requirements and are approved by the DoD/DOE project officers.
