The team that administers the IRB. Within the DOE/NNSA complex, the IRB office typically includes the IRB chair, vice chair, administrator, and any IRB staff. For sites that use one or both Central DOE IRB(s) as the IRB of record, the Central DOE IRB office is the responsible IRB office and coordinates with the site HSR leads, as appropriate, to discuss project-specific information and convey study determinations.
