Counterintelligence (CI) Investigation

Administrative fact-finding and information gathering conducted by the DOE Office of Counterintelligence/NNSA Office of Defense Nuclear Counterintelligence to determine whether national security is being threatened and/or damaged by activities perpetrated against DOE personnel, information, activities, facilities, and technologies or systems by or on behalf of foreign powers, organizations or persons, or international terrorist organizations.
