ACTION: Rescission of Designation No. 00-26.00 to the Assistant General Counsel for Contractor Human Resources ISSUE: Whether to rescind the subject designation to the Assistant General Counsel for Contractor Human Resources. BACKGROUND: Pursuant to section 3 of Executive Order 13673, Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces, issued July 31, 2014, the Assistant General Counsel for Contractor Human Resources, whose title previously was Assistant General Counsel for Labor and Pension Law, was designated as the senior agency official with the responsibilities for the Departmental of Energy's Labor Compliance Advisor. On March 27, 2017, the issuance of a new Executive Order revoked Executive Order 13673 concerning contractor compliance with labor laws. RECOMMENDATION: That you approve the rescission of Designation No. 00-26.00 to the Assistant General Counsel for Contractor Human Resources.
