Archived Directives

Every DOE directive that has left current status — superseded by a later revision, formally canceled, or otherwise retired — stays here in full, rather than being removed once it's no longer in effect.

DOE's own site drops a directive once something newer replaces it, so this is often the only place the original text of an earlier revision remains online. Each entry links to its full version history, showing exactly what it replaced and what replaced it in turn.
