Approved: 10-6-06 SUBJECT: CHANGE TO DOE ORDER 451.1B In accordance with Secretary Bodman’s memorandum on Establishment of the Office of Health, Safety and Security dated August 30, 2006 (see attached), the responsibilities and authorities vested in the Assistant Secretary for Environment, Safety and Health by DOE O 451.1B, National Environmental Policy Act Compliance Program, dated 09-28-01, are transferred to the Office of General Counsel. Any reference made in DOE O 451.1B to the Assistant Secretary for Environment, Safety and Health will instead be read as a reference to the General Counsel. This change is effective immediately.
