SUBJECT: EXTENSION OF DOE N 450.4
This Notice extends DOE N 450.4, ASSIGNMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES FOR
EXECUTIVE ORDER 13148, GREENING THE GOVERNMENT THROUGH LEADERSHIP
IN ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, dated 2-5-01 until 3-1-03, unless sooner rescinded.
The requirements of DOE N 450.4 are being incorporated into a new Order, DOE O 450.1,
entitled ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION PROGRAM, which supercedes the current DOE
5400.1, GENERAL ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION PROGRAM. The new Order is
currently being coordinated through the Department’s Directives System.
