This Notice extends DOE N 450.7, THE SAFE HANDLING, TRANSFER AND RECEIPT OF
BIOLOGICAL ETIOLOGIC AGENTS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY FACILITIES,
dated 10-17-01 until 6-30-03, unless sooner rescinded. The requirements of DOE N 450.7 are
being incorporated into DOE O 440.1A, WORKER PROTECTION MANAGEMENT FOR
DOE FEDERAL AND CONTRACTOR EMPLOYEES.
