This Notice extends DOE N 450.7, THE SAFE HANDLING, TRANSFER, AND RECEIPT OF
BIOLOGICAL ETIOLOGIC AGENTS AT DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY FACILITIES, dated
10-17-01, until 3-30-03, unless sooner rescinded. The requirements of the subject Notice are
currently being incorporated into DOE O 440.1A, WORKER PROTECTION MANAGEMENT
FOR DOE FEDERAL AND CONTRACTOR EMPLOYEES.
