SUBJECT: AVAILABILITY OF DOE G 414.1-1 DOE G 414.1-1, IMPLEMENTATION GUIDE FOR USE WITH INDEPENDENT AND MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENT REQUIREMENTS OF 10 CFR PART 830.120 AND DOE 5700.6C QUALITY ASSURANCE, is available for interim use and comment. Issuance of this Guide completes a commitment by the Office of Environment, Safety and Health to significantly improve and reduce the number of prescriptive requirements for appraisals, audits, surveillances, and assessments that were included in the "old series" Orders. Use of this Guide will support DOE and contractor efforts toward integrating all assessment activities.
