SUBJECT: EXTENSION OF DOE N 234.1, REPORTING OF RADIOACTIVE SEALED
SOURCES
Effective immediately, DOE N 234.1, Reporting of Radioactive Sealed Sources, dated 2-27-08,
is extended until 5-6-11, or until superseded.
The requirements of DOE N 234.1 will be incorporated into DOE O 231.1A, Chg 2,
Environmental, Safety and Health Reporting, dated 6-3-04, and a technical standard, guidance
document or Web instruction on the reporting specifics at a later date.
