SUBJECT: SUSPENSION OF DOE N 351.1, CONTRACTOR EMPLOYEE PENSION AND
MEDICAL BENEFITS POLICY
The subject directive has been suspended as of June 19, 2006, for 1 year while the Department
consults with stakeholders, including Congress, and continues to solicit their views of the issue.
During this period, DOE O 350.1, Contractor Human Resources Management Programs, dated
9-30-96, and amended 5-8-98, will continue to be in effect in accordance with the applicable
contract terms and conditions.
