Approved: 7-7-05 Expires: 7-7-06 SUBJECT: EXTENSION OF DOE DIRECTIVES This Notice extends five Office of Security and Safety Performance Assurance directives until replacement directives are approved. Requirements for the directives marked with an asterisk are being incorporated in the “Streamlined” Security directives. DOE O 471.1A and DOE M 471.1-1, Chg 1, will be updated when the rule (currently being revised) that covers Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations 1017) completes the rulemaking process. These directives are extended until 7-7-06, unless sooner rescinded.
