CANCELE D DISTRIBUTION: INITIATED BY: All Departmental Elements Office of Human Resources and Administration DOE N 251.32 U.S. Department of Energy NOTICE Washington, D.C. 4-13-98 Expires: 7-13-98 SUBJECT: REINSTATEMENT OF DIRECTIVE DOE 1100.4, ORGANIZATION AND FUNCTIONS -- BOARD OF CONTRACT APPEALS, dated 3-1-79 is reinstated retroactive to 1-9-98. This Order was identified as canceled by DOE N 251.26, dated 1-9-98. Cancellation of DOE 1100.4 suggested that it eliminated the Board’s jurisdiction over cases brought under the Contract Disputes Act of 1978. To avoid further confusion, the Order is reinstated and the Chairman of the Board of Contract Appeals is consulting with the Office of General Counsel to determine an appropriate permanent reinstatement of the Board’s Contract Disputes Act authority.
