This is a continuing effort in the ongoing initiative to reduce the burden and volume of internal regulations. 1. HQ 1430.1, LIBRARY SERVICES, of 5-24-88 Point of Contact: Denise Diggin (202) 586-6022 The Library Branch is currently in the process of developing a policy directive and an associated procedures Manual. These directives are expected to be completed in fiscal Year 1996. No legal ramifications or disruptions are anticipated during the interim period while these documents are being developed. The cancellation of these Orders does not relieve the Department or its contractors from complying with the applicable Federal laws and regulations covering these functional areas.
