CANCELE D DOE N 251.18 11-04-96 Expires: 01-30-97 U.S. Department of Energy NOTICE Washington, D.C. SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF DIRECTIVE SEN-15-90, THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY ACT, dated 2-15-90, is canceled, effective immediately. This is a result of the Department's ongoing initiative to review all current directives and reduce the volume of internal regulations. The directives of SEN-15-90 were fuly met by (1) promulgating the DOE National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Implementing Procedures (10 CFR Part 1021) on April 24, 1992, and (2) issuing DOE 5440.1D, NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY ACT COMPLIANCE PROGRAM, dated 2-22-91, which was revised and reissued several times. The final revision, DOE O 451.1, dated 9-30-95, was issued to reflect the new policies and procedures. For assistance, contact the Corporate Management Practices Assistance Group at (202) 586-4716.
