SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF DIRECTIVES
Effective immediately, the Office of the Chief Information Officer is cancelling the following
three Guides:
• DOE G 205.1-1, Cyber Security Architecture Guidelines, dated 3-8-01;
• DOE G 205.2-1, Guide to Preventing Computer Software Piracy, dated 7-12-01;
and
• DOE G 205.3-1, Password Guide, dated 11-23-99.
Cancellation of these directives does not relieve the Department or its contractors from
complying with applicable Federal laws and regulations pertaining to the canceled directives.
Inquiries on these Guides should be directed to organizational Program Cyber Security Managers
or to Bill Hunteman, Office of Cyber Security, at 202-586-1090.
