DOE N 205.17 Approved: 4-11-07 Expires: 4-11-08 SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF DIRECTIVES Effective immediately, the Office of the Chief Information Officer is canceling the following two Manuals: DOE M 205.1-1, Incident Prevention, Warning, and Response (IPWAR) Manual, dated 9-30-04 and DOE M 205.1-2, Clearing, Sanitization, and Destruction of Information System Storage Media, Memory Devices, and Related Hardware Manual, dated 6-26-05. Cancellation of these directives does not relieve the Department or its contractors from complying with applicable Federal laws and regulations pertaining to the canceled directives.
