This is a continuing effort in the ongoing initiative to reduce the burden and volume of internal regulations. DOE 3735.1, DISSEMINATION OF THE DEPARTMENTAL CONDUCT OF EMPLOYEES REGULATIONS, of 5-1-80. New employees should refer to part 2635, title 5, Code of Federal Regulations, STANDARDS OF ETHICAL CONDUCT FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH, copies of which have been made available to all employees, regarding standards of conduct issues. In addition, the Department will be promulgating regulations to supplement title 5, Code of Federal Regulations, part 2635. Employees will be notified when these regulations are published. Point of contact: Departmental ethics counselors are available to answer questions. Headquarters personnel may contact the Office of the Assistant General Counsel for General Law ((202) 586-1522), and field personnel may contact their respective field counsel.
