DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY DESIGNATION ORDER NO. 00-07.00F TO SCOTT WHITEFORD 1. DESIGNATION. Under the authority vested in me as Secretary of Energy and pursuant to section 3 of Executive Order 13327, and as set forth in the Office of Management and Budget Memorandum M-18-21, I designate Scott Whiteford, the Director, Office of Asset Management authority to serve as the Senior Real Property Officer (SRPO) of the Department of Energy. Except as expressly stated herein, you may not further delegate your SRPO authority; however, SRPO authority is conferred to individuals serving in your stead as Acting Director, Office of Asset Management, provided that such acting authority is designated in writing. 2. RESCISSION. Designation Order No. 00-07.00E is hereby rescinded. 3. LIMITATION. 3.1 In exercising the authority delegated in this Order, the designee shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the Department of Energy and the policies and procedures prescribed by the Secretary or Deputy Secretary. 3.2 Nothing in this Order shall preclude the Secretary of Energy from exercising any of his authority whenever in his judgment his exercise of such authority is necessary. 3.3. Nothing in this Order shall be construed to supersede or otherwise interfere with the authorities provided to the Administrator for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) by law or delegation. Furthermore, nothing herein constitutes authority to exercise authority, direction, or control of an employee of the NNSA or its contractors. 4. AUTHORITY TO REDESIGNATE. This designation may not be redesignated or delegated, unless consistent with section 1. 5. DURATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE. 5.1 All actions pursuant to any authority delegated prior to this Order or pursuant to any authority delegated by this Order taken prior to and in effect on the date of this Order are ratified and remain in force as if taken under this Order, unless or until rescinded, amended or superseded. 5.2 All copies of this Order and any subsequent designations shall be provided to the Office of Management, which manages the Secretarial Delegations of Authority system, which includes Designations.
