ROBINSON DIRECTOR GRID DEPLOYMENT OFFICE SUBJECT: Delegation of Authority to the Under Secretary for Infrastructure and the Director, Grid Deployment Office, to carry out programs authorized by sections 50152 and 50153 of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Under the authority vested in me as Secretary of Energy and pursuant to section 642 of the Department of Energy Organization Act (Public Law 95-91, 42 U.S.C. 7252), I delegate to the Under Secretary for Infrastructure and the Director, Grid Deployment Office, the authority to take the following actions: 1. Pursuant to section 50152 of the IRA (Public Law 117-169), execute all activities necessary to carry out the Grants to Facilitate the Siting of Interstate Electricity Transmission Lines Program. 2. Pursuant to section 50153 of the IRA, execute all activities necessary to carry out the Interregional and Offshore Wind Electricity Transmission Planning, Modeling, and Analysis Program.
