GRANHOLM SUBJECT: Delegation of Authority for the Civil Nuclear Credit Program, enacted by Section 40323 of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Public Law 117-58, signed November 15, 2021 Under the authority vested in me as Secretary of Energy and pursuant to Section 40323 of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Public Law 117-58, signed November 15, 2021, I delegate to the Under Secretary for Infrastructure, the Principal Deputy Under Secretary for Infrastructure, and the Director, Grid Deployment Office to execute all activities necessary to administer the Civil Nuclear Credit Program including, but not limited to: establishment of a Certification and Allocation Board to review certification applications and sealed bids; the certification of nuclear reactors; the allocation of credits to certified nuclear reactors; the promulgation of rules relating to the program; and the audit of certified nuclear reactors and the recapture of credits. I authorize the Under Secretary for Infrastructure, the Principal Deputy Under Secretary for Infrastructure, and the Director, Grid Deployment Office to redelegate these activities as appropriate.
