[RESCINDED][RESCINDED] DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY DELEGATION ORDER NO. 0204-81 TO THE ACTING GENERAL COUNSEL Pursuant to the authority vested in me as Secretary of Energy (“Secretary) and by section 642 of the Department of Energy Organization Act (Pub. L. 95-91), there is hereby delegated to the Acting General Counsel, on a nonexclusive basis, all the authority available to me, including that under the Emergency Petroleum Allocation Act of 1973, as amended, to conclude and execute a binding agreement between the Department of Energy and the Council of Jewish Federations, Inc., the National Conference of Catholic Charities, the National Council of the Churches of Christ, and the Salvation Army concerning the disbursement of funds distributed to them by the action of January 19, 1981 taken by the then Special Counsel for Compliance. The authority hereby delegated to the Acting General Counsel by this Order shall not be further delegated. All actions pursuant to any authority delegated prior to this Order or pursuant to any authority delegated by this Order taken prior to and in effect on the date of this Order are hereby confirmed and ratified, and shall remain in full force and effect as if taken under this Order. Nothing in this Order shall preclude the Secretary from exercising any of the authority so delegated whenever in his judgement his exercise of such authority is necessary or appropriate to administer the functions vested in him.
